Hosting Provider

In this section, we will be talking about how to prepare your server for BW 0.3.0 (and if you want to use Hypixelify). The following is categorised in alphabetical order (A-Z). Follow the steps to change your server to Java 11!

Aternos

Note

Aternos servers already have Java 14 installed. Continue if you would like to downgrade to Java 11.

Step 1 - Login to your panel.

Step 2 - Select “Options” on the sidebar.

Step 3 - Look for “Environment” at the bottom:

Step 4 - Click the dropdown box and select “Java 11”.

Apex Hosting

Step 1 - On the front page of their panel. Scroll down to the “JAR File” heading, where you can select various jar types from the dropdown list.

Step 2 - Select the Java 11 jar.

Bisect Hosting

Step 1 - Rename the server jar file to customjava11.jar

Step 2 - On the control panel, click on ‘Open JAR Menu’ and choose Custom > Custom Java 11. That will make the server launch with Java 11.

Dashflo

Note

Dashflo servers already have Java 14 installed. Continue if you would like to downgrade to Java 11.

Step 1 - Go onto your panel. (via this link)

Step 2 - Select your server.

Step 3 - Select “Startup”.

Step 4 - Change the docker image to registry.dashflow.net/images/minecraft/java:openjdk-11-openj9.

Exaroton

Step 1 - Go onto your panel.

Step 2 - Go onto the options page.

Step 3 - Change the environment version:

FalixNodes

Step 1 - Go onto your panel.

Step 2 - Go onto your server.

Step 3 - Select “Startup”.

Step 4 - Change the Java 11 environment variable.

GGServers

Step 1 - Go onto your panel.

Step 2 - Click on the dropdown list to change your Minecraft server jar.

Step 3 - Change it to “Spigot 1.16.5” or “Paper 1.16.5” as GGServers automatically set it to Java 11 when you pick those versions.

Step 4 - Save the configuration.

Idley Hosting

Step 1 - Go onto your panel.

Step 2 - Select “Advanced”.

Step 3 - Look for “Installation Image”.

Step 4 - Click on the dropdown menu and select quay.io/parkervcp/pterodactyl-images:debian_openjdk11.

Step 5 - Restart your server

MC-Node

At the moment, this is only possible by requesting it manually. Contact them via live chat or open a ticket.

MCPro Hosting

All servers are preinstalled with Java 11 already, but if you are on an older version for a different reason and would like to update to Java 11, you will need to submit a ticket here.

Minehut

There is no way to change your Java environment version. Please consider using a paid host or moving to another free service which support java 11. e.g. Aternos.

PebbleHost

Step 1 - Go onto your panel and login.

Step 2 - On the sidebar, click on “pebblehost loader”.

Step 3 - Scroll down to “Java Version” and select the dropdown menu. Click on “Java 11” and Save.

Step 1 - Navigate to your server’s Control Panel:

Slashy Host

Currently Java 11 is not supported but will be added soon. When it’s available you will be able to tick a box on your panel dashboard and it will switch from Java 8 to 11.

Sparked Hosting

There is currently no way to change your Java environment version via the panel. Contact one of the support members via live chat or open a ticket here.
